The City of Ellsworth is seeking a mature and responsible person to perform boat inspections at the City-owned Branch Lake Boat ramp to prevent infestation of invasive aquatic plants in the City drinking water supply. Duties include inspection of boats, trailers and other related equipment; distribution of educational information, oversight of the area, and some record keeping. State of Maine Courtesy Boat Inspector certification and invasive plant identification training a plus. This is a seasonal position. Applications available upon request.
